The literature isn't clear on this, it merely verifies that there are three separate varieties of GATF. I suspect they are regional and could be told apart by their appearance. If I get anymore into it here I would be flirting with giving away the meat and potatoes of my coming post. I'm gonna try to get it up this weekend.

From all I have gatf tails are red never had one that's different color.
I don't think there is a stress color for them?
I may be wrong as I'm not a pro identifying gatf.

That's definitely a goliath. I'm inclined to agree and say he just hasn't developed the red coloring yet as he's fairly little still. I'd think some develop later than others.
