Digital or Regular film camera for pics?

I use a digi cam... It takes too long to get the disposable or film cameras developed, and I don't want to develop an ewurm quality picture, and have to pay for it!

I don't have any success with pics! LOL

what i have found is get a decent digi with lots of manual settings and lots of lighting.
i take around a hundred shots for a few decent ones as i have neither of the above.

Is it better with the flash on, or off?
Is it better to have a room light on or off?
Is it better to have the Tank light on or off? ...thank you for your replies..

use a tripod and timer
