I used to work for a theme park as a Senior Supervisor. We usually work around school schedules. If they don't want to, then you should look for a new job. Theme Parks will hold you down...trust me...I know.

Yeah they will and working for them is super annoyinnggggggg I work for one now and not really enjoying my work time for the most part. They are very unflexible and treat employees not so great. blah.

Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback. I hope theyll understand, ill just have to tell them that this way I wont leave them hanging at all.

You'll learn that most bosses don't really care about your personal life or your problems. They have a task to get done (taking pictures or whatever) and they want it done as cheap as possible.

Be assertive. Tell your boss you can only work X hours/week, only on weekends, or whatever. There's a good chance you will lose your job, as they obviously want a full time person who's highest priority is the company, but your schoolwork is far more important.

Yea, good and bad news, good news he seemed alright and understanding, bad news he says he has to fill out paper work and that it may take two weeks until I can be switched to part time, but another good thing is he does make the schedules for our location so he said he will try to cut my hours back, I hope he does, Im going to mention it again to him tomorrow to make sure hes started the process, also I talked to the rink and they said they could use me more often so if I lose my job I have that to fall back on, and if i do get switched to PT I can use my extra weeknight times to study or work at the rink at my leisure

when I was in university, I used to work friday nights and saturdays. sundays were homework days. its good to keep a free weekend day open for assignments, lab reports, studying etc.

the open day is important. you can get a lot more done in a full day than you can with a free weeknight when you are tired etc etc.

Thats true, luckily I shouldnt have anything important due on monday, most things are due on wednesday for me because thats when my labs are. So having tuesday free is equivalent to Sunday for me.
