Looks like pic 2 is gettin' some color could be he's being dwarfed by the larger fish stunting his coloring also I feed mine a spirulina mix in the morning that helps all my fish color up bright and quick

So sad when they do that. You see "dress colored" males that display full stress bars at the same time at sizes that normally they would only show hints of their future color. The thing that sucks is that the majority of people don't know, or they don't care.
