Is that all they eat? My two 15 inch bass eat two handfuls of pellets or 5 whole shrimp each.
I was asking the same question as well when I saw that plate.:D Do you see the benefits of feeding feeders? I prefer to give them pellets and tilapia whenever possible.

I do ..Al of the foods we feed our fish are ground up fish ..Its good mentaly i think for the bass to be able to hunt at least a little .I also treat the live.I am not saying you need to do it that is just what i choose.I also only do it 4 times a week..

Very well said and yes it's very benificial to them. No one is out in the wild cutting up store bought fish. ;) And there is a reason there so much talk about converting them off live. Live is what they live for it's in there DNA. Also look at his fish! There glowing not shady grey or depressed black.:WHOA:

I truly think they benifit from it .I am definatly not saying all fish need it like my oscar eats Massivore 99% of the time but every once in a while he goes after live and gets one.Certain preditors need it once in a while:D

No body likes sushi? Sashimi is just sliced fish served with a dipping sauce and unagi kabayaki is the yummy sauce served with unagi(freshwater eel). It's made of eel bone broth, soy, mirin, and cane sugar.
