normally on all the labels ive seen for dinosaur eels at petsmart, you can look right under it and it will say polypterus senegalus

They are senegals if you got them at pet supermarket, cool fish though

I work for Petsmart in the Fish Department so i baby them everyday and yes they are senegals. They are my favorite to fed out of all the fish we carry. Oh and we sell them for 5.99 so it probably is location. We also carry the albino senegals for 10 as well as the 3-5" ornate bichirs for 20.
