ya, skillet is not bad for being a cristian rock/metal band.

Its the only song by them that I like it just seemed to fit the monster theme

Its a good price for a spotted...I had one named ChuckD for the longest time.

He ended up killing my first lionfish ever (One of the fish that originally drew me into the hobby, so needless to say I wasnt happy.) and that was it. He was gone.

Never saw him with close to 100# of LR in a 75g tank, he spent his time concealed, only revealing himself at night to beat up the resting lionfish, or to take food from my hand.

Oh well...

I keep him in my 29g for right now till he grows atleast an inch and a half- two inches, the 29g has about 13lbs of lr spread out widely so its easy to see him, he likes to come out anyway hes very interested in what going on and he's a pig. he ate a 3" peice of squid within an hour of being introduced into the tank

Yea, they are for sure pigs. Mine was interested, but realized that he didnt need to leave the rock work.

In the wild, groupers pick a hole, and they sit in it. Everything that comes into that hole gets eaten, unless its there to eat a grouper. :D

haha so true but even my miniatus is coming out more then I had thought it would, its out of its hole roughly half the day swimming around. But he went back into his whole wants I plugged in the koralias, Im afraid theres too much current so I unplugged one of the Magnum 7's and he's coming out again

Strong current does seem to keep them close to the rocks, and Ill be the first to admit I overdo it current wise...but my tanks have great h2o quality. I think its a worthwhile tradeoff. :D

I think I may just keep them on a certain number of hours a day, like one hour in the morning and 2 hours in the evening, to somewhat simulate the currents of the actual ocean

I would be careful doing this, you can very quickly wear out powerheads that are not supposed to be turned on and off. So all powerheads that aren't wavemakers.

freakin wow big blue... wow!

such a sick deal! such a beautiful fish!

like allways, you've got me motivated! WOOO!!
