i went and bought a 3" silver aro for 30$ i got it home acclimated it my water is perfect it lasted 24 and croaked and there was no sign of no refund and they said o it just happens it was a bad transfer or maybe my one inch dat killed it not

Did you test the LFS water? If their water is very aged and saturated and yours is fresh, longer acclimation is necessary.
they tested my water and they were surprised it was just like their water i told b4 i wood buy a fish from them again a wood just burn the money in front of my face and ask myself if that was fun they didnt like that too much but yes they are done getting business from me
To be honest, if they tested your water and said that it was same as their water... then I don't see why its a "dirty lfs".

unfortunately a lot of fish places will not guarnatee live stock. mine dosnt. ive had very expensive fish die from them. discus and so on. its a risk you are going to take, i will still buy from them.
if they replace one for you, everyone will go to that lfs. because no matter how bad your water is, you're gonna get back one. isn't it?
most will not guarantee arowanas because they are so fragile at that size. honestly your dat could have killed it. young arowanas need to be alone. like it or not that is the nature of the beast. i don't think the lfs was in the wrong. any were you go will be the same with aros. aros stress easy and die easy. look for a bigger aro next time and you may have a better exp. sucks you lost an aro, but it is not a rare thing at that size with the expected lfs response. i just had an arowana jump out of my tank and die. could have been a fresh death and i bring it back to the lfs and say "it just died, i want my money back" doesn't work that way. the lfs doesn't know if it jumped and you are trying to cheat them.
