Dorado. Fierce fish destroying everything in it's path OR are they just misunderstood? :nilly:

I'm gonna find out in an attempt to assemble a tank that would be viewed as a ticking timebomb by most, but trustworthy enough that I don't loose sleep over it.

My recipe so far is a small silver aro and a fresh batch of Dodos....

If you've never owned Dorado you really are missing out. These things are VERY neat. NEVER stop moving. I'm hoping to use them as Dithers.

Mine were lil pricks when kept alone. Get them in a small group and they seem to just stay to themselves kinda just messing with eachother and ignoring tankmates. Feeding time they get nuts, that's for sure.

Very nice!!! How big is the tank?

Mini growout is about 80. Growout is 300. Next is either pond or 750.

Yeah I wasnt aware of this when I got the two of them and they constantly fought with each other and had scales flying all over the tank.

Don't know if I agree with a 10 foot tank. They seem very aware of thier surroundings. Not supposed to get over 30 inches in aquariums.

They do like to swim though. I have my shoal of 7-8inchers in a 4 footer right now and they are bitter...lol
