Let's not get all righteous on the guy now.
Is the tank now empty?
Will you be putting any fish in it anytime soon?
Do you have a properly cycled and clean tank elsewhere? (the 55 I'm assuming)
Dump that tank, add some gravel from the properly cycled tank along with
cycled filter media and start over.
Be sure it is cycled properly before adding any long term inhabitants.

yea tank is empty only thing that will live in it his my little cray
him and a tri-color shark are in my 55 and doing fine
would buying new gravel work aswell? im going to start geting it cycled tom
