Milky Way Galaxy,
:cry:It all started when i walked into my LFS picking up my Common Snapping turtle. When he went to the back he couldt find it. Mind you i already payed my $60 for him. He called his employers, one of them said i didnt know he was already sold. AKA He sold my turtle after i already payed the LFS. They gave me my money back and offered me 4 Soft Shell Turtles and some salamanders but i turned them down. And now they say they wont have another one for couple months. But i just found out my Uncle saw some snappers in his LFS. Not sure what type. He will pick one up for me. But that wont be for 2 weeks. Just wanted to share my story on how careless LFS can be...

Humans will be humans. Sorry for the missed turtle. I never trust a store to keep an animal for me anymore. I had some losses that way and now I either take it or leave it. I don't expect a loosely managed group of teenagers to have the communication capacity of a professional crew.

Well this LFS ive been going to for years and this is there first... But i may go back for some of those free salamanders i found an empty 30gallon. I have one salamander he is lookin kindof lone some.

right it on the tank. when i got to fish stores i make them get out paper and tape it to the tank saying "sold to HP."

sorry but the snapper but softys are way cooler IME.

btw, what kind was it? commons are illegal in cali, and i think i remember you saying somewhere thats where your from.

i have had 3 adult common snappers. they are cool, and pretty heavy. wild caught ones are almost always covered in those little leaches or whatever that you see on turtles all the time. plus they commonly have dieases and one of my WC had shell rot. where did you buy it from?
