disappearing bars

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the heads up guys.

Dont know what problems you guys are having.

Out of the 70 Guyana Occellaris we did not loose any fish. All are healthy and very active.

They bang the glass when I walk in :)

I will post an HD video of ours tomorrow night. What were the water temps like upon arrival? The temp of the water in the bag??

We never fed live foods, and none of ours are acting stressed. They are all happy.

I will update this thread tomorrow. And Id like to know what you guys are feeding your fish.

Thanks,
John

im curious why u keep your temp at 87

seems very high and it dosnt help your o2 level

good luck, hope they pull through!

my water temp is 84, the bag was alittle cooler, maybe 76 or so, but not that bad that it shocked them. I did notice alittle ich on the back, and very little like a spot or two here and there, but after half a dose of quick cure and some aquarium salt, it disappeared within two days. The new batch I just got John seem great. The remaining one I had left out of the first three did nothing but show stress colors and hide in the top corner facing downwards. As soon as I added the 3 pack I received today, he came right out, and now the 4 hang out together, along with Rapps broko's "amazing colors". All are on feeder guppies which are treated before feeding for now just to catch up to my rio meta orinos which are 5 1/2". Very pleased with the fish though John, most of the time its the keepers water problems thats causes it, and others it may just of been the shipment. They've been moved around alot in the past few weeks, from your importer, to you, then from you to all of us, I'd be stressed too stuck in a bag, sealed in a box for a few days.

Thats exactly what I felt.

Thanks for the heads up Jimmie.

Im glad both your shipments from me and rapps came in good.

Those brokos are stunning!

Thanks,
John

I believe these little guys are pulling thru they are mellow now and just chilling out they are feeding still so well see in a couple days tomorrow the second treatment gos in and after that they should be all good .
John i honestly believe these guys got infected during transfer to the old feeder tank purely my fault .
Vamptrev ive allways used the advice joey (tounge33 )gave me when raising my baby cichla high heat added air and 50% water changes once a week and with two airstones blowing in the quarantine tank they have plenty of oxygen but i agree with your point i allways preach to add airstones in any tank it could be a cold water tank and id still add a couple airstones just because it keeps the fish livelier

These little occels have pulled thru and they are better still extremly stressed and emaciated i used a.p.i.quick cure on them sweet now i just gotta get them to eat and quit being shy

Nice work!!!
