Oh man...well set-backs like this are always frustrating, and losing a large Cichlid always sucks. But don't give up.
 
Yeah, that's pretty ****house.

Lesson learnt, i hope. When attempting to form a bond between a newly introduced, large aggressive pair, Never leave them unsupervised. They may seem to get along for a few hours, but things can change in a split second. If you have to leave, for whatever reason, just slot the divider back in and try again later.

ay.... i hate it when tis happens .... that really sucks my first try breeding ended exactly like this but the female died
