Can you get pond liner and/or a Rubbermaid livestock tub? Either of those could be used for temporary housing for the big fish until you can find a large enough aquarium.

Ya, I know, huh? Retail prices for bigger tanks are just SO high! It's way worse than the depreciation of driving a new car off the lot.
I'll keep looking for "fitting" combos on outta town CL Ads, but can't expect those great bargains that So Cal residents always snag.
Well, we do have beautiful scenery here! LOL.
I love reading & learning so much on MFK, but I'm starting to creep myself out with thoughts like using horse water troughs (in the house) as "gateway" tanks for beautiful fish that I don't want to miss when they're available!!

All I can say is, my normally tolerant husband really questioned my reasoning powers when I brought that up...especially the one I had in mind for inside the bathtub, for easy constant wc's (we have community well water & it's rarely chlorinated).

Well, I did get married @ Disneyland...skied mammoth many times but, what I was getting at is that the 90g and 75g are sitting in my driveway filling up with rain water awaiting a good home. But yeah, thats a helluva drive.
