Discus Hans USA Fish House Tour : EXTREME LOAD WARNING!

Hans I was stunned by you fish at the ACA, and if I call that stunned I would have to say I was knocked unconscious after seeing this. (By the way I am the young guy, glasses brown hair, that was helping run everything at the ACA, or at least it seemed like.)
here the king of fresh water fish is the discus
and breeding them here is considered as a great achievement in fish keeping
and i have seen quite a few monstrous thingamajics for keeping and breeding discus, but yours takes the cake, bewildering setup, and love that "guaranteed breeding pairs and take the fry if they have fry", this is by far the coolest policy, some of those discus look so so pretty
if only they had some razor sharp teeth, i would have at least one large tank dedicated for them

ikevi were you the one who lend my drill for the air valves? You know you've to understand in 4 days we meet so many new and old friends (and I'm getting a little older
) and those ACA days always take a lot out of us, to remember all.

trebor69 Who knows, but at the moment we use a lot of fingers from people who try to stick them in my tanks or filter, we cut those, my Discus love them
headbanger_jib thank you, and breeding Discus is not that hard anymore, but you need to get healty stock and that was in the past not to easy.
Remember a lot of Discus were made sterile in the old days (still happens) to prevent other from breeding them.

Fish Room Plus New Jersey............come by and take a look, it holds with out any problem. Funny thing is, they just replaced my heating system, I had 6 guys running around in my fish house and because they also replace the pipe system a few were STANDING on my racks, stepping from rack to rack, with out any problems. Must say after 30 minutes watching it, I gave them the key and walked out, I couldn't see it any longer.

NICE!! that's a monster set up and 85lbs of food in 10 days WOW! i have never kept discus but they are very pretty i need a community tank and give it shot.
