Discus in a pH of 7.8?

Thanks for the quick response. Sadly, i may not get discus for a while, because i do not think they would do well with my angels and tiger barbs. One day though:D

If your worried that much about your ph get an RO machine=ph problem solved. Discus can be kept that high but your big problem would be to find fish that are used to those conditions, most discus are born and raised with low ph.

Good luck, if your worried about mixing them with the angels you could always get another tank;);)
 
I would love to get another tank, but for now my parent will not let me - only 4 more years til college, and then another 4 til i am out, and then...MORE FISH :)

Anyway, i was just wondering.

And i am not necessarily worried about mixing them, it is just what i have read about mixing them. My tank is probably a bit too active, i think (barbs, rainbowfish, rainbow cichlids)
