I have three discus that I got last friday 8-31-07 they are all very close to the same size but the smallest isn't eating. They are in a 120 with a motoro and a lima both fairly small. He swims around fine but when I feed them the other two come out and eat and he just kind of hides. I have been feeding frozen brine and mysis shrimp, freeze dried blood worms, Omega protein and flakes. I have tested my water and my levels are fine and my temp. is at 84 degrees. I have ordered some black worms but they won't be in until tomorrow. Any suggestions are very welcome. Thanks Jamie:nilly: :nilly: :nilly:

You could try blending a beefheart mixture. My discus go crazy for it. Perhaps, the breeder where my discus came from used it as their primary food source.

Yeah someone told me that and I forgot. I will pick some up tomorrow when I go get their blackworms. Thanks

Mine love frozen blood worms, not the freeze dried stuff so much. Some times it takes a discus a while to get comfortable after being moved. Also your tank might be to large for three small discus. Try getting a few more if possible.

I was gonna say frozen bloodworms too, but I thought you were supposed to get discus in even numbers?

Even numbers sound good but 2 is to small unless it's a breeding pair. Groups of around 4-6 do better then smaller groups.
