Discus Question....

I picked up a few 3 - 3.5 inch discus, and they're a bit jumpy and startled easily. Is that normal? I had 'em for a couple of days. They're in a 180 w/ 2 retic rays.

is tha tank planted at all?
most fish are kinda skiddish the first few days, give it time.

You could turn the lights off for a couple of days until they acclimate to your tank.

Discus can be very shy and jumpy, I like the tank lights off for a couple of days, good advice!!

What is your water temp? Is there any cover for them to hide in? Discus can be fairly shy, but just to be safe, what are your parameters?
