Discus spawn

Wow! That male BD is a real stud! :ROFL: Looks like a keeper. Do you mind me asking where you purchased him from? I've been looking online for some BDs, but haven't found any good looking ones.
 
They were purchased from my LFS. If you want good looking blue diamonds, Macsdiscus.com is a good choice.
 
Pics of the vast majority of my current ones as well as my old discus should be in the sticky.
 
wyldfya, very nice discus. Me and my fiance are getting a house in june, and are lookin to do a very large discus tank, roughly 300 gallons and maybe larger. Do you have any recomendations on adding discus. Would it be okay to buy a few at a time until we reach our magic number or should i look at possibly getting them all at once?? NOT intending to hyjack the thread just let me know either by PM or a post here. thanks!

Adding them gradually is ok, so long as you start with a large enough group.

sweeTang21, if you add them a little at a time don't forget you will need to QT the new ones a min 4-6 weeks no matter where you get them as they may have different immunities/ diseases not to mention parasites and other assorted problems.
 
They both look great, should be some interesting babies..

How big are the happy couple?
