Aw man what a bummer, he was awesome! Hopefully the two little guys I got from you can carry on his legacy. They've put on some nice mass in the last few weeks :)

I wanted you to know that you and your beautiful tank of fishes inspired me to do a 450 gallon discus tank.

Awesome... That's going to look incredible since I know you don't cut no corners. Are you doing wild or captives? ......

Discus has always intrigued me but was always afraid to try it because of all that I've read and heard. My experience with them by far is no different then when I use to keep Peacockbass. Believe me, if I can keep Discus, anyone can. I'm sure you'll be pleased as they are quite inquisitive and very personable. They eat right out my fingertips and always approach the tank when I am near.

Can't wait to see your set up.

What a [terrible] coincidence. I had a mystery toxin in my tank last week and watched three of my six adults - two males - die right in front of me. Literally rolled over and died as I watched. It was awful.

Like you, I take solace in the fact that I have a batch of fry from each of them that I am raising with great care to carry on his legacy.

How's progress toward the big tank?
