ok im new but thinkin about a size of 4'x2'x4' LxWxH
is this okay?

also i plan on only feedin it live bloodworms and live brine shrimp, i will add
in liquid vitamin 2 the food, n put in live plants, is this diet ok?

how many are you planning to keep in that tank?? are you starting with young fish? i would go for atleast 6-8. you feeding is fine, but i would also try to add pellets in their diet(since frozen food can be expensive too)...keep up with water change ;)

ok im thinkin about doing New Life Spectrum, but the container says its 1 mm pellets, isn't this a bit 2 small 4 a discus, i want 2 feed it NLS pellets with the live bloodworms/brine shrimp, but once they eat the live foods theres no interest in the pellets. So its either pellets alone or live bloodworms/brine shrimp soak in liquid vitamin. Which one?

1 mm is plenty big. They really don't have that large of mouths. (I feed NLS, Xtreme fish food, frozen blood worms, and a beef/shrimp/vitamin/etc mixture.)

It also helps to get them eating pellets if you need to leave and use an auto feeder.

A 4 foot tall tank?

can you feed hikari carnivorous foodsticks to discus?
Yes, you can. Don't expect the discus to eat them immediately though. They sometimes take days to weeks before they become completely accustomed to the food.

Please post a video of you hanging upside down in this "custom" tank trying to anchor the live plants in the substrate.
