im a sucker for tall tanks hehe 1 mm is big enough, but do watch if your filter sucks it in before the fish have a chance to eat them...or you can always turn the filters off during feeding. i would feed atleast 3 diffrent kinds of food, the more the better, about 3 times a day min. lets see the tank
