You cant have discus unless you plan on getting them a 55g very soon. Not even 4 babies in your current tank. I would say two at the most if you HAVE TO, but please dont get discus until you have a bigger tank!

On a 29 you would be doing 70-90% per day to keep them growing and the water clean. You would need to upgrade to a 75 at least, more preferably.

well angelfish and discus prefer tallness over length..and if you did you would have to stay on top of things and get a couple maybe but i think thats even pushing it in a sense..

You could use the 55 gallon for a growout.
That is what i am doing.

me too i got 4 pairs that i breed a 75 gal with 8 and a 210 discus..... i did a bunch of testing with QTY in a 40 with discus on foods and schools and colors and i found that only even numbers. but like u said it could just be luck
