Thanks for the reply. The tank isn't new but I think you are right about the available space.I'm planning on building a new 240 gal in the next couple months to address that problem. Just hoping to keep all my friends happy and alive until then. thanks again for the advice

I wouldnt rush throwing these guys into a 240g tank. These are juvies..you said 2"..a tank that big will be detrimental to growth. If you really want to get them growning take out the sustrate and add a small layer of pool filter sand if you wish not to do bb. Take out all the tank mates and go to town feeding and doing water changes.
