i was wondering if discus can go with ebjds? i know they are reallly peaceful fish but ive seen some hold their own.

Not true, angels, sevs, sajicas, keyholes, and most other peaceful cihlids can be kept w/ discus, you just have to keep a close watch on water params.dunderman;4156996; said:

I would not do severums with discus, severums like to chase and they are similar body shapes. I could see it going either way with the blues. The discus would be fine when the electric blues are young if the discus were big and in a larger tank. If you say a sev can live with a discus then I have no doubt a ebjd can. Depends on the electric blue, my 8''er no way I would try it he would stress out the discus. I think it would work short term though, not for life and If you tried it I'd say using a 6ft tank 150g or something like that. If it were me I'd do electric blues and severums and not the discus, but there you need to worry about the electric blues..there really isn't a happy medium man but I think there would be more success with severums. My orange sev does a chase here or there but other than that they get along pretty well, but a rotkeil I used to have was a total ass. Either way there is going to be smoke.. Discus have the rep more for params more than actually being delicate for being too passive.
