Just wondering they would be too nippy to be kept with discus?

Same for pea puffers? Although..Id be afraid of a pea puffer being eaten..My fishes do like pea's..:ROFL:

Any slower fish is in danger when kept with puffers. I would never keep a discus with one. Your expensive fish will end up with no eyes and nipped fins!

its not a definite that the puffers would mess with the discus, but there is a good chance. its all dependent on the puffers personality. i have 2 green spotted puffers that i got pretty young and they are probably the most docile GSP i have seen in person. all the time when you see them in pet stores you see ones with torn up fins, but these guys have tolerated every tank mate i put in there other than the crabs i put in there. but i put them in for food since they are part of their diet to help keep their teeth trimmed

I do have a pair of discus (Not bought as a pair..) But their eggs dont hatch anyway.

So yeah..basically show only.

Also been looking at mbus..

I know their size...My dad has been obssesed with them..stared at one for ages in the lfs..He knows their size ect aswell.

Ive seen videos with them + discus..?

I have done Discus with SAPs. DPs will nip at fish 20x their size.
Keep in mind, SAPs prefer to be in a group & will need regular dentistry:

Didnt except DP's to work..

I guess I couldkeep some snails in a livebearer isolation tank, if I do get some??

Any ideas on mbus ?
