The fry are now 79-80 hours old and are free swimming, but there are only 3 left. I guess I'll be setting up another tank this weekend so I can seperate the pair of breeders from the rest.



Ya, I know what ya mean. This is the first batch of eggs to hatch in 6 trys. Usually they would eat the eggs after the first day.

i guess you were lucky that they weren't eaten right away

cross fingers and seperate when you can.
read about fry eating off parents skin,but their are special foods out there to supplement.

Well none of the fry are left. I'll change the situation, maybe better sucess next go round.

Ya I would imagine so. There are a total of 10 discus in the tank.
