aquarium breed can also be line breed... where you breed fish with traits you like of the same species of fish... like pundit square in high school bio class.

I think that maybe not sayin that in this case is one of them. That peaple post false information to avoid rival breeders on know the secrets on getting the same fish them themselves have breed

might be true.

i also came across this tid bit of info on Heros severus which supposedly isn't what we find at the LFS. what we do find supposedly are hybrids of Heros efasciatus. i also found out that "true" Heros severus is a mouth brooder, and Heros efasciatus don't mouth brood.
