hi just thought i would start one up asking how people dealt with the death and disposal of the first monster fish? we havent had the need to yet but we arent sure how we would do it if we did have a death

 that had me crack up for a second because thats what i do grab a grocery bag put it in and straight to the trash

Into a Walmart bag and then into the trash.

My first monster disposal was probably when my pond filter failed and allowed my pump to drain my pond. 14x 12"+ koi. And over 100 comets and shebunkins. I dug a 3' deep trench down the center of the garden and lined the fish in. Sprinkled some Lyme and filled it in. This is the reason I don't like bottom drains on ponds. Pastiche canister filters can, and obviously will fail.

Anything larger then 2ft gets burried in the backyard. I burried my 2ft Tigrinus catfish that died last year. Anything less then a ft goes in the trash.
