Distinguishing p palmas and p buettikoferi

To the OG poster, sorry if my pics didnt do enough justice. I'll explain

This pic below is my former palmas palmas (the one in front). To recognize palmas palmas, the fish has very prominent black "stripes" throughout the body and a bright yellow-green color. The face is sometimes gold-yellow and the head shape resembles the same face as palmas polli. Palmas Palmas max out at ~16"

The pic below this line is my former palmas buettikoferi. For Buettikoferi, NOT all have alot of yellow. Mine has a "dark gold-yellow" to him. For this species, it has a lot more stripes however, they are very thin and close to each other. IF you look at the top of the fish, you will notice a lot of gold dots all over him, giving this fish the name "gold dust". The headshape is also different from palmas palmas and palmas polli. They guys are very slow growers however some are seen at ~22"
