All of the killies in my tank are native. Some were bought as feeders, and some were collected by me in one of the bays in Delaware. I have been using them as dither fish for my dat, scat, and archers. They are usually well behaved, except they go crazy when fed. Tonight, while reading a thread on my laptop in front of my tank, I heard a splash. They scared the crap out of the scat (who is twice their size) and chased my larger archer in a school. Usually they don't even hang out together, but tonight they got together and chased him behind a rock. Once he get into the cove, they went back into the plants and wherever else they were at.

Has anyone else had their dithers go crazy?

i have tin-fo barbs as dither's and they are always trying to nip fins and only if they knew they were dithers.Would they hate us???

My tinfoil barbs(dithers) are scared of my other fish. They pretty much stay in a school and when they realize that they swam into the path of a hovering pbass they get really scared and swim to the bottom real quickly.

Something just got scared and slammed into the glass really really hard.
