if anyone else has a densely planted tank for their bass and they are hiding then i HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting some dollars. just make sure they're a similar size to the bass otherwise they may try eat them... and fail

i should have done it alot earlier. now i can sit and watch my bass not just my plecos eating leftovers!!
