Dither Experience

Dithers all the way. At one point I had over 250 giant danio's, around 60+ tin foil barbs, convicts, mollies, other random tetra's and pleco's in my rhom tank. Today there is only 1 giant danio, 1 female convict and a pleco cause these guys have a very high IQ. Lucie tried to eat them(- the pleco, lucie could careless about him) still but they are smarter and faster.

He murdered them all one by one....

Lfs, they dont add ontop of wholesale for common tetras, 200 neons, black skirts, serpaes etc. cost me around $50. Also in Mid east/Asia.

My friend had guppies that still breeding in piranha tank and the piranhas don't touch the guppy fry....very much. Larger guppies do get eat from time to time.

Big enough tank with enough hiding spots for this to happen with enough guppies would be cool.

I added a ton of tetras to my tank before adding my .5" natts.

Tank is BB, with one sparse piece of DW and a smattering of plastic plants.

My natts are totally fearless, growing fast, and foracious eaters. They are already playing tug of war over food, and even approached my hand inquisitively the last time I was working in the tank.

Im going to go ahead and say dithers are a good idea, I plan on keeping giant danios stocked, and also adding as many (on sale) tetras as I can whenever they become available.
