Don’t really understand what ur trying to say but, if I understand what ur trying to say, everyone in this site likes to keep fish. This site is not only for monster fish/ predatory fish but for smaller, community species as well.
Like you, I keep bichirs as well. Could you share some pics of yours?

Nice ornate!
Short body delhezi it looks like. Unique, love how it looks. But the lapardei, it looks sickly thin.. does it eat a lot?

ye sadly i actually thought he wouldnt make it at all at first when i got him home ( i ordered him from germany ) and picked him up at my LFS , ye he ate alright.. my endlicheri and 1x senegal in the first week and got almost almost the size in just a week so i can just assume he was really underfed ;/ i also think he might be closer to 13 inches now so. ye the owner said that the delhezi was 2.5 years old and the ornate 1 year and they were about 23 cm del , and 21 cm ornate which is about 9 and 8 inches ? i think

sry for all the spam i managed to find a more recent pic of my lapradei it isnt a very good pic but you can see its a little better weight wise , what do you feed your bichirs ? im struggling a bit with that .. i've tried sinking cichlid gold pellets , carnivore pellets , shrimp , flounder , ''alaskan pollock'' my lap really only goes for the shrimp / flounder / pollock but atleast with the pollock he liked it 2-3 times and now ignores it when i put it in .. :/

( oh you cna just edit a comment.. , how often do you feed your bichirs aswell :) ? im sry if im a bit hard to understand im super tired and english isnt my first language )
