dither/target fish

im looking for a dither/target fish of smaller size than tinfoil barbs and silver dollars about 4-6 inches max any advice would be appreciated

What kind of Cichlid are they going to be in with? Tiger Barbs work pretty good for some Cichlids that aren't as big and hungry as Oscars. Danios are so flitty and jittery, they make some fish nuts. It really all depends on what kind of Cichlid they're going in with.

hope you gcan get giant danios very cheap because they will be gone very quick in that tank,

I think anything smaller than silver dollars has a good shot at being food.

how big is your tank? if you have a 55 for those fish, then dither will be redundent.
