What are some good dithers for my 55 gallon. Theres a GT, a jag, a carpintis, and a midevil. All around 5-6 inches. the dithers should last at least 5 months.
no convicts, because i cant find any. I know my tank is over stocked but im waiting untill i move to set up my 90 gallon.

Giant danios will be your best bet... but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make it very long.

You're going to need more than a 90 with those fish. As it is, you could wake up or come home one day to a massacre. The Jag and Midevil are getting close to that point of snapping and turning that shared tank into their tank and anything in it, wont live.

The green terror will be sold and maybe the midevil. im also hoping that they will focus more on the dithers than eachother

None until you get rid of some of the others (the jag & midevil preferably). Thats too many large size fish in a 55 unless youre doing 50% water changes every 4 or 5 days on that tank.

Your nitrates are probably already over 50ppm, which is about 40ppm too high.

I wouldnt add anything to the 55 and would rehome what wont realistically have a nice life in the 90g.

A 90 isnt honestly large enough for a single male Jag, let alone the others.

Best scenarios for your 90:

1) the gt & carpintis with small dithers & small pleco
2) the midevil with dithers & small pleco
3) a single FEMALE jag with dithers & pleco

Even with large water changes, there is still aggression to be concerned with, Carptintis, Jags and Midas/Red Devils can get pretty nasty. Especially the latter 2.

i know, well at least some of that. Unfortunately i failed to do any research before buying, I bought them all at 1 inch. I tell my mom that they will kill eachother. And she says its natural, keep the ones that survive. I am probably going to end up starting over. Im wondering to what size would the jaguar need to be upgraded from the 90 gallon and how long would that take? I really love my jag. Midevil gone for sure. I need to get a new water testing kit too. ive been really busy

Depending on if it's a male or female Jag... they're going to need around a 150-180 gallon tank, well a male would. A pair definitely would. You MAY be able to get away with a single female in a 90, but she'd be cramped.
