Dithers for Amphilophus tank

Mbunas, or School of Convict males. depends on size of tank. If you do go convict route, mix them up with zebra and pink cons.

silver dollers and red hooks my friend! works all day long as to quick for cichlids to do harm to!

I'll 2nd that one.... I think myleus schmorburgki and mylossoma duriventre would look cool......

Hello MFK. Happy Holidays to all. Just wondering what would make some great dithers for a Amphilophus tank. Labiatus,Citrinellus,Amarillo,Chancho,and Red Isletas. Any ideas? I also dont like silver dollars or any fish that looks like that.

I would go with the convicts, but you may have problems finding larger ones that are more than mouth-sized.

Yeah the LFS by me has some mouth size morsel convicts. They will be a snack in my tank.

i got my convicts by posting on the local free buy and sell or what ever you have in you area but they were full grown for 2$ each because these breed so easy someone is always wanting to get rid of some
