I am looking for some interesting or maybe different from the normal dither fish. I have a 150 gallon tank. Oscar, Texas cichlid, green terror, black diamond cichlid, and salvini. I would like a small school of fish that don't get too huge but large enough to not get eaten. Any suggestion.

Columbian, Congo, Buenos Aires Tetras. Better yet a group of filament barbs.

My LFS has them. Mine formed a harem and spawned often. They were very active and were mid to top swimmers. Get very bright and colorful at spawn time.

Ok sounds good are they quick enough to escape the larger cichlids? Non of mine show too much aggression but they are still small, 1.5"-4". So I think that could change. Also off topic I am new to this forum, I am being restricted from doing a lot of things. Such as looking at my own profile and others is that normal? It says I have to post 5 messages, I think I did. I hope this will change. Thanks everyone

Based on your criteria, medium sized Roseline Sharks would work.

Or, spotted silver dollars they are dumb, hardy and dont get too big.

+1 silver dollars. I have silver dollars with my Oscars, flowerhorn and others and it works perfectly.
