I know there's a lot of species of brycon. I can't remember the scientific name for this specific one, but I remember seeing a few common ones coming from Brazil and West of the Andes and I've seen them get up to a foot in length.
I know my comment is off topic but how big do you think this brycon will get fully matured

I now realize, had caught this species before.
After the 1st few days fast, it has started taking prepared foods such as flakes.
I believt the always hungry dithering of the Astyanax have goaded it into a feeding response.
At 6" it is still a typical Brycon tetra shape, but as it grows, it seems to get more cylindrial, like the 10" individuals caught previously.
