I have
100 gal
2 Uaru
1 True parrot
1 blue acara
3 pictus cats

what would be a good Dither fish for these guys? I would like to stick to South american fish.

I doubt you would need them. Those are pretty nonaggressive, non shy fish.
I cant suggest any fish, but look up SA schooling fish that dont grow over 3-4in. I can suggest barbs. Very active little fish. Clown loaches i dont think are SA but they are very active and make other big fish not as shy. They are good at protecting themselfs too. get 3-4 for ur 100gal

My uaru are a bit shy skitish. I think they would be happy with dithers around. Also I like schools.

Clown loach are from asia. I'm also looking for mid level swimmers.

only sa schooling dithers i can think of are tetras, but they would go quick...maybe corydas

iv used silver sharks as dithers before ( i know theyr asian) but even they got eaten

i agree with FishingOut, u dont really need dithers and clown loaches work wonders

You can go with the tried and true silver dollars

So Everyone thinks dithers will become food in my tank? The parrot once an adult might try and eat the smaller fish but the uaur I doubt it. The acara already eats small fish she is the one I have to watch and she is not goin to get any bigger.

find some big Buenos Aires tetras, they shouldn't get eaten until maybe when the parrot gets bigger

What about some Columbian tetras or headstanders?
