Dithers

Filament barbs are better dithers. I've used them for years and highly recommend. They're faster and a little thicker than Roseline sharks. Roselines make very expensive feeders IME.

Seriously go with them. How big are they? Once they reach 4.5-5" they will make awesome dithers with your big cichlids. They're quick and they'll school so get at least a 3 or 5.

If you could grow them out just a little more, they would be totally worth it. Filament barbs are the best dither for CA/SA tanks imo.
 
sorry to just take your post like this L.belcherII, but since we are on the subject of filamentosa barbs I was wondering at what size can you see the physical diffrence from male and female?
