DIY 110 gal 2x55

It is the height (and somewhat length), not the gallonage that determines the required thickness of the glass and the pressure it is withholding.
 
Im in the process of getting the the materials to combine 3 55 gals and make a 12 footer. If I do and it works out ill post pics of it its gonna be ****ing huge, BTW I think im gonna take the front, back, and bottom paynes to a glass shop and get them melted together. If it works it gonna be ****in hugeeeeee. BTW its gonna be an african cichlid tank...
