DIY 125 gallon tank divider

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone can direct me on how to make my own tank divider? I just bought a 125 gallon tank this weekend and I can't seem to find a pre-made divider for that size tank. I currently have a 9" Oscar and I'm planning to buy a 3" BGK. I don't really have a spare tank to use as a nursery so I thought of just putting a divider till the BGK reaches a size that he won't be a bite sized snack.

What's the best way to cut them and do I need any suction cups or something to keep it steady? Also, do you think the holes in it is not big enough for the BGK to squeeze through? I can imagine a 3" BGK becoming a snack for Oscar.

at 3" the bgk will swim thru the eggcrate but you could line the eggcrate with black plastic evestrough mesh

What's the best way to cut the panel though? I'm a little worried that it may scratch the glass too. Any suggestions to avoid that?

I used tin snips..and whatever was left i used pliers to get..

Instead of using an light panel, I decided to use a craft mesh instead since the holes are smaller. For the frame, my dad suggested I use a CableHider (PVC raceway) instead of regular PVC since it already has a slice in the middle. I just wanted to ask if you think this is safe for fish. There's also a double sided tape on it but I'm planning on taking that out.
