DIY 150 gal low iron glass tempered 12 mm

Yes you can brace it like that. I have some tanks that is 120x45x50 thats braced like that so no worries at all by doing that way

do u think 2" wide for that brace is enough? or mb i need to make it 3"/4"? less is better but just to be safe..

I think my bracing is 5cm on each side. Can take a measurement later tonight and upload some pics of it if you would like to see?

so your 120 tank is using 12mm glass too?
can i see your bracing? im planning to finish it fast so if u have some reverence pics, i will be very2 helpful.
im afraid 5cm wont hold the 160cm length of glasss with 150 gallons of waters, but if i put 10cm there each side it will create obstruction when i clean the tank lol
 
No i think it is 8mm glass. Ive got another tank thats 150x60x60 built in 10mm glass. But that tank has bracing lengthwise and one across in the middle of the tank to.
I think the bracing on that tank is 10cm
