DIY 165 Gallon Aquarium Stand Help

With a tank of this size and weight, I would not feel safe about it having any opportunity to "rock" on the stand. Even if someone bumps into the stand, I would not want any movement of the frame. That amount of water could create quite a wave effect and really test the stand.

I did some more horizontal supports on the inside of the stand on the sides, and it didn't help much. The tank wasn't rocking on the stand, but the stand was rocking with the tank. I am starting to think that it is my floor since stuff in that room seems to rock more easily. The back of the stand is positioned on a joist, but not the front.

Once I filled up the tank with 200ish lbs of gravel, it seems more stable. I also looked at some simple DIY stands at work, and they seemed the same.

I would think that the only way something could happen is if I tried to knock it down, or possibly fell into it with a lot of force. But I am thinking that is the same with any fish tank stand with large tanks on them.
