Yeah you can find it at home depot and lows. Be sure to get the latex based. Some stores carry it in different colors but I bought white and used black concrete colorant to mix different shades of grey.

you might try a small airstone near the bottom of the cut out along side of the heater it should pull the water up past enough to sufficiently heat your water! good luck !! by the way background looks good!

Worked out just great, no issues at all. To be safe I got a larger heater than I needed for a 20G but it worked out.
