yeah a 36" does sound better wouldnt mind starting a few monsters off in there till i get my pond i'll keep you posted gotta get some glass thanks guys
 
Make sure you measure the doorways in your house before you make something 36" wide or it'll have to stay in your garage. Look up GARF build it has pretty complete instructions if you're feeling a little shaky on the process. The glass calculator I have says you could get away with 10mm but with a really low safety factor. You'll definately sleep better at night if you bite the bullet anf buy thicker glass.
