DIY AUTO WATERCHANGE

what i do is instead of sucking to start the siphon attach it to my power head once the water reaches my bucket i take it off the power head and it continues to siphon... thts where i start to siphon up all the poop... it works great for me!!!! and i thought ide let other peoepl kno so waterchanges could be easyer for you 2.......

if ny has any other DIY waterchanges please let me kno it wud be cool to have a bunch of diff ideas!!! thanx

I use to use an old inflatable bed pump to start a siphon, you just change the outlet to the sucking side instead of the blowing side and it worked a treat

I used to just dip the whole tube underwater and got all of the air out of it. Then plugged up the end with my thumb and let it go into the bucket.

i attached one of those oil black things that you squeeze to start oil siphoning! works great!
