Doing water changes
Im making my own background for my tank using spray foam the great stuff. Now im going to have to paint and seal the background. What paints and sealers are safe for a background? What have you used in the past that have worked the best? And how to you give the background a natural texture?

Since it looks like this thread is all about short answers...

Great Stuff will float.

Ok so short answers are almost pointless without an explanation to go along. Use concrete products (coloring is possible) to coat the foam after it has been molded. Then use a propane torch to melt the Great Stuff. Lastly, soak the background in a salt bath to cure it. Without curing, the background will cause the pH to skyrocket out of control.
