Seen a lot of these quikcrete and styrofoam backgrounds. How safe is the quikcrete for fish, all replys welcome

I built one shortly after Christmas and placed it in a 30 gallon tank that I am using to grow out some fry. It was an experiment in which I followed the directions of a you tube video. It has worked great. It looks great and I have not lost a single fish due to water quality. In fact I liked it so much that I am trying the same process on a 250gallon tank. Just applied my second coat of cement today!
